Time to Strike

What a game last night! We didn’t blow a third period lead and Frederik Andersen picked up his 100th career win. Tonight the Leafs are in Columbus for a game and then they’re back at the ACC for a 5 game home stand. Now is the time for the Leafs to really heat up in the playoff race.

With Montreal in their bye week right now, Boston Claude Julienless, and the Senators playing .500 in their last 6 games, the Maple Leafs can use the momentum from the 7-1 victory to propel them into a winning streak.

With the standings so close, they are only 7 points out of first in the Atlantic, a 4 game winning streak away from first.

Their home record is 14-9-4 which is a substantial difference from their road record which is 12-9-7. These next 5 games at home could be when the Leafs turn it around and really make a push for the playoffs.
